Get Bent – 2026 Football Camp Tee

Get Bent Friends is a non-profit dedicated to empowering Oakland youth through strength training, mentorship, and community. For the 2026 Football Camp, the goal was to create a design that felt like a friend's band's Merch. The design centers on Oakland Football stars Omar Staples (Oakland Tech/Stanford) and Jaivian Thomas (McClymonds/UCLA), honoring their journey from local fields to the college stage. To capture the "Get Bent" spirit, I utilized: High-Contrast Halftones: A nod to xeroxed punk zines Dimensional Typography: Letterforms that mimic vintage sports collegiate headers. The Oakland Tree: Centered as the "anchor," representing deep roots and community growth. Process: 1-Color on Heavyweight Black Cotton.
